ICE BREAKER

What would you most like God to do for you at the moment?

THEME

Report from the Harrogate New Wine leaders’ Conference.

Reading; Ephesians 3 : 14 – 21

SERMON OUTLINE

The message on Sunday morning consisted of eight testimonies from those who had attended the New Wine Leaders’ conference at Harrogate, at the beginning of the week. There were also a number of healing testimonies from members of the congregation.

The contributions from those who had been to Harrogate revolved around stories told, and testimonies heard, of healing, of encountering God in a very tangible way in an atmosphere of worship, and being challenged in the area of walking by faith, and not fear.

An opportunity of receiving ministry via the “Prayer Tunnel” and in response to an invitation for healing prayer, accompanied by words of knowledge, was offered at the end of the service, in which many people participated.

QUESTIONS OF APPLICATION

1) Recap Eph 4 : 15

2) What did God say to you / do for you on Sunday?  How did you react to a rather different form of service?

3) Read Eph 3 : 14 – 21. What does it say to you? What does v16 mean?

4) When have you felt overwhelmed by the love of God?

Take time to pray for each other, with laying on of hands – perhaps for one or two folk in particular, or all sharing in giving and receiving. Listen for, and be brave to share, words of knowledge, or prophetic words.
