Reading Acts 2 ; 1 – 13 & Luke 11 : 9 - 13

SERMON OUTLINE 

In an All Age service, no extended sermon. We reflected on the need of the Holy Spirit to equip us to live the lives God wants us to. He is absolutely essential, as essential as our regular food.  There was then an opportunity to respond, via the prayer tunnel.

QUESTIONS OF APPLICATION 

1) Read the passages. What hits you most? What  did God say to you on Sunday?

2) In what ways do you need the Holy Spirit’s enabling in your life? How can you claim the promises in the Luke passage?

3) Pray over one another in 2’s/3’s – this could be for specific matters, or simply for further equipping, enabling and  the continuing anointing of the Holy Spirit.

(Remember He is He, not “it” – a very important fact, as this underlines that this is personal encounter and empowering with a personal God)
