Reading ; Ephesians 4 : 20 – 29

3)         Think about Jesus – He always spoke the truth, even when it was very difficult.

Think about yourself – we are born again to be like Jesus, and to crucify the old man in us. We will always know the inner battle.

Think about our hearts – how readily are you honest? How open are you to hearing the truth to change you, and build you up?

Think about our mouths – see v 29.

4) The memory verse – Ephesians 4 : 15

QUESTIONS OF APPLICATION

1) Reinforce the memory verse. Go over it, and repeat it a few times.

2) Read the passage – what hits you?

4) Is it ever OK to lie? When did you last distort the truth in some way?

5) How easily do you hear truth about yourself from others?

6) How easy do you find it to be honest about yourself, e.g. in a cell? Where do you find it hard, and where easier?
