SERMON OUTLINE

The All Age service on Sunday took Celebration as the theme, and illustrated this from the life of the Oasis group, We reflected on our need for celebration, as part of a healthy spiritual life, and a means of bridge-building and finding forgiveness. Quoting from John Ortberg, celebration is cited it as one of the necessary spiritual disciplines.

QUESTIONS OF APPLICATION

1) Do you like parties? Why?

2) Why do you think the party, and the older brother’s attitude plays such a big role in the story of the Prodigal Son?

3)  How is celebration expressed in your life? Is there room for improvement?

4) Is there scope for the cell to plan something practical over the next two or three months to express celebration?
